Summer Bishil is an American actress best known in her portrayal as Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). in the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed the 13-year-old Lebanese American teenager Jasira who is amidst a turbulent life as the U.S. attack on Iraq in the Gulf War. In 2007, she was chosen by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. She was in 2009 as the imposing Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. In addition, she has appeared in a number of films, including The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on TV, including co-lead on Lucky 7.
