Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. Her career began on the soaps of daytime like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later times had many supporting roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 on the streets of The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her acting career with daytime soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap production One Life to Live. She joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. She made her film debut with a brief appearance in Girl 6 (1996) then was featured in several episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo appeared as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the one year following. Navedo played a regular role in the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Later, he appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo played a role in several films such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 to 2013.
